“When food is a tradition that time does not change” 


Italian cuisine has always been one of the world’s favorite foods, and the Brancato family has brought the rich flavors and aromas from their hometown Floridia, Sicily to Enumclaw, Washington. It all began in 1995 when Dario Brancato; his parents Pippo and Lilla; and two brothers migrated from Italy to the Pacific Northwest in search for better opportunities. 


Throughout the years, traditional Italian dishes have brought the Brancato family together creating memories, and bonding around the dinner table accompanied by a glass of wine. Because of those traditional dishes, the essence of being a true Italian has always been a great significance to Dario and his family. Since a child, Dario has had a passion for cooking and creating tasteful foods for others. Dario remembers his childhood mostly spent at his grandmother’s and mother’s side learning about true Italian food, because someday he wanted to be able to create the foods he loved for others to enjoy. 


It was in 2015 when Dario and his father Pippo had the honor to open IL SICILIANO Ristorante Italiano in the heart of Enumclaw, Washington for others to come and enjoy the flavors of Sicily, Italy.
